SV	En de vroedvrouwen zeiden tot Farao: Omdat de Hebreinnen niet zijn gelijk de Egyptische vrouwen; want zij zijn sterk; eer de vroedvrouw tot haar komt, zo hebben zij gebaard.
WLC	וַתֹּאמַ֤רְןָ הַֽמְיַלְּדֹת֙ אֶל־פַּרְעֹ֔ה כִּ֣י לֹ֧א כַנָּשִׁ֛ים הַמִּצְרִיֹּ֖ת הָֽעִבְרִיֹּ֑ת כִּֽי־חָיֹ֣ות הֵ֔נָּה בְּטֶ֨רֶם תָּבֹ֧וא אֲלֵהֶ֛ן הַמְיַלֶּ֖דֶת וְיָלָֽדוּ׃
Trans.	watō’marənā haməyalləḏōṯ ’el-parə‘ōh kî lō’ ḵannāšîm hammiṣərîyōṯ hā‘iḇərîyōṯ kî-ḥāywōṯ hēnnâ bəṭerem tāḇwō’ ’ălēhen haməyalleḏeṯ wəyālāḏû:

AC	יט ותאמרן המילדת אל פרעה כי לא כנשים המצרית העברית כי חיות הנה בטרם תבוא אלהן המילדת וילדו
ASV	And the midwives said unto Pharaoh, Because the Hebrew women are not as the Egyptian women; for they are lively, and are delivered ere the midwife come unto them.
BE	And they said to Pharaoh, Because the Hebrew women are not like the Egyptian women, for they are strong, and the birth takes place before we come to them.
Darby	And the midwives said to Pharaoh, Because the Hebrew women are not as the Egyptian; for they are strong, and they have borne before the midwife comes to them.
ELB05	Und die Hebammen sprachen zum Pharao: Weil die hebräischen Weiber nicht sind wie die ägyptischen, denn sie sind kräftig; ehe die Hebamme zu ihnen kommt, haben sie geboren.
LSG	Les sages-femmes répondirent à Pharaon: C'est que les femmes des Hébreux ne sont pas comme les Egyptiennes; elles sont vigoureuses et elles accouchent avant l'arrivée de la sage-femme.
Sch	Die Hebammen antworteten dem Pharao: Weil die hebräischen Frauen nicht sind wie die ägyptischen; sie sind lebhafter; ehe die Hebamme zu ihnen kommt, haben sie geboren!
